John Quinn @ Monmouth University
The Tigers sent three teams to the John Quinn Memorial Regatta, hosted by Monmouth University. The Tigers placed 2nd, 3rd, and 5th, competing against the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, Drexel, Rutgers, Delaware, Villanova, SUNY Stony Brook, Monmouth, and University of Maryland. The regatta was completed in one day in a solid 10-11 knot breeze. Dylan Winslow ‘29 and Isa Mena ‘29 secured two bullets across four total races to nab a win in A fleet!
Chesapeake Open @ U.S. Naval Academy
The Tigers finished 5th at the Chesapeake Open hosted by the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. Although Saturday was light, with only two races completed, the race committee was able to run five more races on Sunday in a southerly breeze. The Tigers raced against Navy, St. Mary’s, Georgetown, Penn, ODU, Fordham, Penn State, and George Washington University. The Tigers A fleet finished 4th with a race-high finish of 3rd, while B fleet finished 6th with a highest finish of 8th. The Tigers look forward to going back to Navy for conference championships at the end of October.
