Alexandros Chalvatzakis ’28
Coed Team Captain
Thessaloniki, Greece

I began sailing in middle school in the waters of the Thermaikos Gulf, but it wasn’t until I came to Princeton that I sailed a 420 with crew. I’ve grown significantly in skill and teamwork, and am excited to lead the team!

Maggie Hammond ’29
Women’s Team Captain
Lawrenceville, NJ

I began sailing in Maine over the summers at seven years old, and started coaching sailing at 15. My time skippering for the women’s team at Princeton has increased my competitive ability and love for the sport. I can’t imagine Princeton without the amazing sailors on the team.

Ella Gonzalez ’28
Women’s Team Captain
Manhattan, NY

I grew up sailing in the summers in Mantoloking, NJ. I’ve grown so much from going to regattas and learning from past sailors on the women’s team. I’m excited to mentor new sailors and help us reach our competitive potential!

Peter Stover ’28
Fleet Captain
Hanover, NH

Before coming to Princeton, I had never stepped foot in a sailboat. I’m thankful to have discovered the sport last year, and am looking forward to the next two years on the team!
